WATCH – Big Sky men’s tourney quarters: No. 1 SUU moves past UNC, into semis

In the first quarterfinal of the Big Sky Conference men’s basketball tournament, No. 1 Southern Utah posted a 91-83 win over No. 8 Northern Colorado.

SUU senior John Knight III poured in a career-high 34 points to lead the T-Birds into the semifinals. Northern Colorado junior Bodie Hume had 30 points to lead the Bears.

Following the game, Southern Utah head coach Todd Simon, Knight (right) and senior Dre Marin along with UNC head coach Steve Smiley, Hume (left) and Daylen Kountz addressed the media.
