FCS National title game – Montana captain Trajon Cotton on South Dakota State

No. 2 Montana plays in its first FCS national title game since 2009 when it takes on top-ranked and undefeated South Dakota State on January 7, 2024.

Colter Nuanez of Skyline Sports caught up with Trajon Cotton, a senior nickel back and inspirational leader for the Grizzlies, after practice on December 27.

Cotton is a Sacramento native who transferred to Montana from Oregon State and has spent the last three seasons at UM.
