Big Sky Tournament – Montana State races past Montana, into 3rd straight NCAA Tournament

For the first time since 1986, Montana took on Montana State with the Big Sky Conference tournament title and a bid to the NCAA men’s basketball tournament on the line on March 13, 2024.

Montana swept Montana State during the regular season. And the Griz built a 49-38 lead early in the second half. But MSU went on a 41-9 run to run away with an 85-70 victory over UM.
