Montana took the Dornblaser Field for the first open practice of its 2024 fall camp on August 5.

Montana is coming off a 13-2 season that included an outright Big Sky championship and an appearance in the FCS national title game.

Montana needs to replace QB Clifton McDowell (transfer) along with Big Sky Defensive MVP Alex Gubner (NFL), among others this fall camp and beyond

UM 13th-year head coach Bobby Hauck addressed the media before practice on Monday.
