Big Sky Breakdown: Montana claims outright Big Sky championship

Montana secured its first outright Big Sky Conference men’s basketball championship since 2013 on Thursday with a 75-57 victory over Weber State in Missoula on Thursday. The Grizzlies earned the sixth outright league title and the 10th Big Sky banner in school history with a wire-to-wire victory to stay undefeated (13-0) at home and move to 22-7 overall.

Montana point guard Ahmaad Rorie (20 points, seven assists), senior power forward Fabijan Krlsovic (15 points, 11 rebounds) and head coach Travis DeCuire after moving to 15-2 in league play with one regular-season home game remaining against Idaho State on Saturday.
