Big Sky Breakdown: Montana State head coach Jeff Choate on FCS Playoffs

Montana State head coach Jeff Choate recaps his team’s 7-4 regular-season finish and MSU’s win at rival Montana and previews his team’s first round playoff matchup.

With Saturday’s 29-25 win over Montana, Montana State punched a ticket to the FCS playoffs for the first time since 2014. MSU’s third straight win against the Griz helped the Bobcats secure a first round home game against Incarnate Word of the Southland Conference. The winner of Saturday’s game (1 p.m. kickoff) will advance to the second around against No. 1 seed North Dakota State in Fargo, North Dakota.
