Big Sky Scramble: Montana State, Portland State get big wins with two weeks to go

In a season that feels like it started about two weeks ago, there are only two weeks left in the regular season for Big Sky Conference football. With that in mind, we’re analyzing every game from last week and giving thoughts on every team in the Big Sky Scramble.

RED DEAD: When Montana visited Cheney to play Eastern Washington in early October, the story was the Eagles’ offense against Montana’s defense. It took Eric Barriere and EWU the better part of three quarters to figure out the Grizzlies’ swarming pressure, but eventually they did, and scored 24 points in the fourth quarter for a 34-28 win.
