Big Sky women’s championship game – EWU bests NAU to advance to 1st NCAA Tourney since ’87

In the Big Sky Conference women’s basketball tournament championship, No. 1 seed Eastern Washington outlasted No. 2 Northern Arizona for a 73-64 win and a trip to the NCAA Tournament.

In the Big Sky Conference women’s basketball tournament championship, No. 1 seed Eastern Washington outlasted No. 2 Northern Arizona for a 73-64 win and a trip to the NCAA Tournament. Eastern Washington is now 29-5 and take a top 80 RPI into Selection Sunday.

The NCAA Tournament berth is the first for EWU since 1987 and the second in program history.
