Big Sky women’s hoops presser: NAU drills Lady Griz, moves into semis

No. 4 Northern Arizona breezed to a 75-57 victory over No. 5 Montana on Tuesday afternoon in Boise, Idaho.

The win sends NAU to the semifinals for the second time in three seasons under fifth-year head coach Loree Payne. Montana is now 1-7 at neutral site Big Sky tournaments and 1-6 in the post season since Robin Selvig retired in 2016 following 38 seasons at the helm.

Montana head coach Brian Holsinger along with seniors Sophia Stiles and Abby Anderson plus NAU head coach Loree Payne and seniors Khiarica Rasheed and Lauren Ordorff addressed the media following the game.
