In the quarterfinals of the women’s Big Sky Tournament in Boise on Tuesday, Montana State hit eight of its first 10 shots from beyond the arc but missed 10 of its next 12. Portland State’s zone limited penetration and forced 22 turnovers on the way to a 68-56 win.
The fourth-seeded Vikings move on to play No. 1 Idaho on Wednesday. MSU’s season ends at 16-15.
