No. 3 Montana blitzed No. 4 Montana State early and never looked back, rolling to a resounding 37-7 victory that sews up the first outright Big Sky Conference championship for the Griz since 2009.

UM’s win combined with No. 2 Furman’s 19-13 loss to Wofford gives the Griz the inside track on the No. 2 seed in the FCS Playoffs and home field advantage throughout.

Montana State is now 8-3 and will likely still receive a seed.

Following the game, Montana head coach Bobby Hauck, senior linebacker Braxton Hill and junior wide receiver Junior Bergen along with MSU head coach Brent Vigen and junior defensive end Brody Grebe addressed the media.
