Montana Football Hall of Fame – Dennis Erickson

In 2016, the non-profit Big Huddle in Billings began the Montana Football Hall of Fame to honor great football talent from the Treasure State.

On March 25, 2017, a total of 11 men were inducted into the Montana Football Hall of Fame in a ceremony at the Red Lion Hotel in Billings, Montana.

Video features Dennis Erickson, the starting quarterback at Montana State in the late 1960s and a legendary coach both in college and the NFL during an illustrious 47-year career. Erickson started his career at Billings Central High before taking his first college job at Montana State in a career that saw him win two national championships at Miami, a Fiesta Bowl at Oregon State and spend two different stints in the NFL.
