Hall ready for bull’s eye during sophomore season at MSU

on

Tyler Hall knows he will be a marked man this winter.

The Montana State star sophomore was one of the breakout stars of the Big Sky Conference during his true freshman season. Hall averaged 18.6 points per game and his 578 points shattered MSU’s freshmen scoring record. Hall shot 43 percent from beyond the arc and drilled 96 3-pointers, including hitting 44.2 percent from deep against league play. Hall shot 45.7 percent overall in earning Big Sky Freshman of the Year honors thanks to scoring 20.3 points per game in league play.

With All-Big Sky point guard Marcus Colbert gone to graduation, the spotlight will shine even more brightly on Hall. The Rock Island, Illinois native knows it and spent the off-season preparing for the added attention he is sure to receive during his second season.
