McCarthy twins add life experience to the Bobcats

Jakob and Lukas McCarthy have always walked a similar path. For a time, that path seemed like it would eventually lead the twin brothers from Orange County to different destinations, particularly if they wanted to play Division I football.

“I didn’t think we’d be going together anywhere because who recruits two linebackers at the same time from the same school?” Jakob said in an interview in early June week. “We played together our whole lives so I was getting ready to find something new.”
