Montana Griz press conference – No. 4 UM rolls past No. 7 Sac State

No. 4 Montana won for the fifth straight time to move to 5-1 in Big Sky Conference play, 8-1 overall by running away from No. 7 Sacramento State, 34-7 on November 4, 2023.

The UM win snaps a three-game losing streak to the Hornets and keeps the Griz in a tie for first place in the Big Sky. The victory is also the 124th of Bobby Hauck’s 12 seasons leading the Griz, making him the Big Sky’s leader in total victories.

Following the game, Hauck, UM senior linebacker Tyler Flink and junior wide receiver Keelan White along with Sac State head coach Andy Thompson addressed the media.
