Montana State press conference – Bobcats blast EWU to stay in league title contention

No. 5 Montana State scored 41 straight points in the first half on the way to a 57-14 win over Eastern Washington (4-6) in the final regular season home game for 2023 at Bobcat Stadium.

Montana State head coach Brent Vigen, senior running back Lane Sumner and senior defensive end Ben Seymour addressed the media following MSU moving to 6-1 in Big Sky Conference play, 8-2 overall. With Idaho’s 31-29 loss to Weber State, Montana State can now claim the outright Big Sky title with a win over No. 3 Montana in Missoula next week.
