No. 2 Montana State leaned on No. 3 Sacramento State, particularly in the second half, rushing for 211 of its 328 yards in the third and fourth quarters on the way to a 42-30 win.
In the clash between the two Big Sky Conference champions from a year ago (the two teams did not play), Montana State handed Sac its first conference home loss since November of 2019.
Following MSU moving to 4-0 in Big Sky play, 6-1 overall, Bobcat head coach Brent Vigen, junior safety Rylan Ortt, junior cornerback Jon Johnson and junior running back Julius Davis addressed the media.
