He received interest from Boise State, San Jose State, UC Davis, Eastern Washington and West Point. He held an offer from San Diego before committing to MSU.

Academics: Business

Kassis on Montana State: “I really liked it. Coming from California, it definitely exceeded my expectations and really played an influence in my decision. I kind of had the impression in Montana of a one-highway town but it was something a little different. It was a lot like where I come from. A lot of little shops in a cool town. It felt like home to me.”

Film: Kevin Kassis highlights

Coach Choate on Kassis: “Kevin is actually a guy who was being recruited by Boise State when (Montana State wide receivers coach) Matt Miller was there. Matt kept bringing his name up. I said we really aren’t in the market for a bunch of wide receivers but he loved the kid. We watched him and he was a good player. We bring him and his family up for a visit and there was no question he was the right fit for us. I think he has the ability to stretch the field vertically with some good speed. He’s an excellent hands guy with great body control.”
