In the Big Sky Conference men’s basketball tournament championship game, second-seeded Eastern Washington outlasted No. 5 Montana State. The Eagles advance to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2015 and the third time in school history.

Montana State’s season ends after reaching the tournament championship game for the first time since 2009.

Following the game, Eastern Washington head coach Shantay Legans, along with juniors Kim Aiken Jr. (left) and tournament MVP Tanner Groves plus Montana State head coach Danny Sprinkle, junior center Jubrile Belo (left) and senior Abdul Mohamed addressed the media.
