WATCH – UM outlasts EWU in shootout for 1st win in Cheney since 2008

No. 8 Montana rolled up 701 yards of total offense and hung on for a 52-49 win over Eastern Washington, UM’s first in Cheney since 2008.

Logan Fife threw for 364 yards and 5 TDs while Montana rushed for 339 yards in moving to 4-1 this season.

Fife, head coach Bobby Hauck & LB Ryan Tirrell addressed media following the game. Eastern Washington’s Efton Chism III and head coach Aaron Best also addressed media following falling to 1-4.
